SAFETY, LICENSES & FORMS
Safety is our number one priority.
At Longleaf Hill, your safety and enjoyment are our top priorities. Before participating in any hunting, shooting, or lodge activities, all guests are required to obtain a hunting license and review and complete our release and liability forms.
All hunters must be 12 years of age with a completed hunter safety course. We ask that participants refrain from using 12-gauge shotguns or automatic firearms. We recommend 20-, 28-, or .410-gauge shotguns, with over-and-under or side-by-side models being preferred.
Hunting
License
All hunters must be properly licensed. Licenses can be obtained from www.gooutdoorsgeorgia.com.

Hunting
Safety
At Longleaf Hill, we take pride in offering a challenging and memorable quail hunting experience, but nothing is more important than keeping our guests, guides, and bird dogs safe. We require that you follow these simple but essential guidelines:
-
No alcohol before or during the hunt, let’s keep sharp eyes and steady hands in the field.
-
Watch for low-flying birds and be mindful of your surroundings.
-
Always know where your guide, hunting partners, and dogs are so everyone stays safe.
-
Load your gun only when your guide instructs you- safety first, every time.
-
Follow the 10 Commandments of Gun Safety as the foundation of responsible hunting.
